Are you looking for relief from traumatic or distressing experiences, but don't have time for weekly appointments? Maybe you've tried traditional talk therapy but have found progress to be too slow. An EMDR Intensive might be the solution you are searching for!
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic approach designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. During an EMDR session, a therapist guides the client through a series of eye movements, sounds, or taps while the client focuses on specific memories or thoughts. This process aims to reduce the emotional intensity and negative impact of those memories, allowing the brain to reprocess them in a healthier way.
EMDR can be effective for treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions.
An EMDR intensive is an accelerated form of EMDR therapy that involves concentrated sessions over a shorter period of time. The goal of EMDR is to address and resolve traumatic or distressing experiences; with intensives, I can help you find relief faster!
EMDR Intensive sessions may vary in length depending on your needs, but they are typically 3 hours long. Breaks are included to ensure your comfort and well-being. We will do an initial screening session prior to scheduling your intensive to find what will work best for your needs!
All clients will complete an initial screening assessment prior to scheduling an intensive, which is covered by insurance (I accept most major commercial insurances) or can be done self-pay.
The EMDR Intensive is self-pay only and the standard rate for a 3 hour session is $450. This is an investment in yourself and your wellbeing. Please reach out today if you have any questions or concerns about cost. Payment options are available.
