About Me

My name is Marissa Hall, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker associate and therapist. It is my joy to be a part of the therapy team at Abide Inclusive. I see clients in person in Raleigh, NC and virtually through telehealth in the state of North Carolina.

In our sessions, expect a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can freely explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. We'll work collaboratively to address your concerns, focusing on your strengths and utilizing mindfulness techniques to promote self-awareness and healing. You can expect me to actively listen, validate your experiences, and provide guidance as we navigate your journey toward self-discovery and growth.

What Makes Me Different

As someone who deeply understands trauma and shares the perspective of being a queer therapist, I offer a space where our shared experiences can foster genuine connection and growth. Reaching out to a therapist can be intimidating but take a moment (and a deep breath) to reach out to me and see how I can help.

My Approach

My specialty is working with adolescents and young adults (ages 16 and up) and I have experience working with individuals who have struggled with anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, gender or sexual identity (LGBTQIA+), and trauma. Life is too short to surrender to trauma, bad relationships, or social pressures. I am trained in cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, EMDR, mindfulness and somatic techniques, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. I am also a musician and artist in my free time and I am always open to learning new techniques that would benefit you and your needs.
